Packaging machines and spare parts
In Italy, starting from January 1st, 2023, the environmental labeling regulation introduced by Legislative Decree (D. Lgs) no. 116 of September 3rd, 2020, came into force, which in turn amended Legislative Decree no. 152/2006, already concerning environmental matters.
This regulation requires the identification and classification of packaging, by indicating the nature of the materials it is made of, as well as providing consumers with information on the final disposal of the packaging, once it has been emptied of its contents (collection, reuse, recovery, and recycling of the final packaging).
